Warner Brothers has decided to premiere all of their 2021 releases on HBO Max as well as in theaters
On Thursday, December 3, the American film company Warner Bros. announced that in 2021, it will release all premieres simultaneously in theaters and on the streaming service HBO Max.
"The hybrid model was created as a strategic response to the impact of the ongoing worldwide pandemic, particularly in the United States," Warner Bros. said in a statement. Simultaneously with the release of the film on the screens of cinemas, it will be released for a month in HBO Max, after which it will be temporarily removed from there. This year, Warner Bros. plans to release 17 films, including "Dune," "Suicide Squad" and "The Matrix 4."
The first hybrid release (cinemas + streaming) in the United States was the fantastic film Wonder Woman 1984 / "Wonder Woman: 1984". Despite the low results for the old days, in the Coronavirus situation, the film collections were quite satisfied with the Warner Bros. studio, which gave the go-ahead for the launch of the third part of the picture.
