Residents of Shymkent are pleased by repair work

Since Shymkent became a cultural capital city of CIS in 2020, objects as museums, theatres, parks and other sights were actively restored.

One of them is Russian Drama Theater near Arbat Street. Mainly, restoration and renovation work was done on land, new tiles, fountains, gazebos and benches. Now, residents and guests of the city can enjoy and spend their time admiring the view.

“I am glad that our city is changing in a good sight. The renovation was done nicely and neatly. It is noisy on the Arbat, but here I can sit with my grandchildren and admire the city.’’ says 55 years old citizen of Shymkent Gulzhan Omarovna.
