The new generation of the iconic SUV has appeared in an elongated 7-seater version of the body.

Already the fifth in its nearly 30-year history, the Jeep Grand Cherokee has become very much like the flagship Grand Wagoneer adopted with a bang, thereby meeting the expectations of most fans. Although, in fact, both cars are different: the Grand Cherokee is built on a lightweight Italian platform Giorgio, and the Vagonir shares its cart with large frame Dodge. The first will go into production an extended 7-seater version of the SUV, which significantly differs in size from the current model with two rows of seats: the length is 5204 mm versus the current 4820 with a wheelbase of 3091 and 2916 mm, respectively, the track has expanded by 36 mm.

The range of engines includes the usual, well-developed atmospheric gasoline engines V6 3.6 (294 hp, 348 Nm) and V8 5.7 (362 hp, 529 Nm), paired with an 8-band automatic. The set of all-wheel drive transmissions, as always, is extensive: this is the basic Quadratrac I with a clutch in the front wheel drive, Quadratrac II in the same bundle, but still with a demultiplierator and finally Quadra-Drive II with a clutch, demultiplierator and rear differential lock. The optional Quadra-Lift air bag allows you to adjust the amount of ground clearance in an impressive range from 170 to 277 mm with a standard clearance of 216 mm. The maximum depth of the ford has increased by 100 mm and is now 610 mm.

The interior is designed for seven seats, but for the second row, you can specify separate seats, as in the front, which will reduce the capacity of the car to six people. With the third row of seats folded, the trunk volume is 1328 liters, and if you put the second row, the cubic capacity of the cargo space reaches an impressive 2396 liters.

Production of the new extended Jeep Grand Cherokee will unfold in the second half of the year, and the release of the former, conditionally short model will continue until 2022, when the classic 5-seat "Grand Cherokee" will appear in the subsequent company from a series of charged versions of the SRT, Trackhawk and Trailhawk.

Residents of Shymkent are pleased by repair work

Since Shymkent became a cultural capital city of CIS in 2020,  objects as museums, theatres, parks and other sights were actively restored. One of them is Russian Drama Theater near Arbat Street . Mainly, restoration and renovation work was done on land, new tiles, fountains, gazebos and benches.
